Greenwich Public School Libraries
offer an inviting and well-resourced environment encouraging a love of reading. There is a collaboration between librarians and teachers at both sites to assist students in the development of skills in information literacy.
Library News:
This term we are acquiring a selection of graphic novels - novels in comic format. These are proving very popular, especially with Stage 2.
Greenwich Road has the shortlisted picture books and junior fiction books which have been voted in for this year.
The Premier's Reading Challenge:
All students are encouraged to participate. At the Greenwich Road Campus the data needs to be entered at home with assistance. At Kingslangley Road students have a limited amount of time in school and are able to complete it themselves. All revelant information is available on the Premier's Reading Challenge website.
