Music Programs
Greenwich Public School has an innovative and thriving music program. We believe everyone has the potential to be a musician and our rich and varied programs at Greenwich PS have always embraced the value of Music Education.
Currently we offer Band, Strings, Guitar and Rock Group ensembles. Enrolment is open to our strings program from Kindgeraten and year 3-6 for our guitar and band ensembles. All students are placed in ensembles that rehearse each week.
The program consists of concert band, training band, junior strings, senior strings, guitar group and 3 rock groups, with more than 70 students participating across our K-6 student cohort.
Each Ensemble participates in competitions and performances throughout the year, such as the Australian School Band and Orchersta Festival, Festival of Instrumental Music, Conservatorium of Music Concert, Performing Arts Concert, Education week, School Spring Fair, Annual Music Camp and many School and local community performances.
